Neural model

Community Forensics examines visual signs of generation. We check the centre, a mirrored version, a JPEG copy and two offset regions. Conflicting scores give an uncertain result.

File details

We read software names from EXIF, PNG and XMP. For JPEG files, we map changes after recompression. These measurements are separate from the model verdict.

Scores show the model response. Intermediate scores and small images receive an uncertain result.

AI image detector online

Upload a photo: Lumen compares five image variants, checks metadata and shows each model’s results separately.

Do I need an account?

No. You can check a photo without signing in. JPG, PNG and WebP files up to 12 MB are supported.

What does a high score mean?

It is a strong model response to signs of generation. The verdict considers agreement across five checks; individual scores are available in the report.

How do I check a difficult image?

Use the original file, inspect scores for different regions and check its provenance. For portraits, you can compare marked eye pairs for each person.
